The Open Championship at St. Andrews is always special and golf’s greatest champions have triumphed here with the Old Course hosting the Championship 27 times. Tiger Woods has won the Open Championship is 2000 and 2005, joining the all time greats that have lifted the Claret jug amid the historic amphitheatre of the 18th green. Who can forget Seve Ballesteros’ iconic fist pumping celebration in 1984, the drama of Jack Nicklaus’ victories in 1970 and 1978 and the legendary rivalry of Bobby Locke and Peter Thomson in the 1950’s?
